Euchre is a fast moving, trick-taking game played with only a partial deck of cards. It is not a difficult game to learn so we are always willing to help anyone who is new to the game or wants to refresh their skills. The members of the three euchre groups have a lot of fun playing cards and we always take time to visit and get to know one another. Light snacks and beverages are served during our time together at the discretion of the hostess. We play euchre with two or three tables depending upon how many people respond.
Euchre – Daytime I
This group meets on the third Wednesday of each month from 1:00 to 4:00 pm in the members’ homes. We currently have a core group of 15 members and play two or three tables of euchre depending on availability. New members are added to the substitute list to fill a table when core members can’t complete a table. Four players are needed for each table. If there are enough members interested in playing daytime euchre, we may try to create a second group. If you are interested please contact Leader Gloria Brubaker.
Euchre – Daytime II
This new group is just starting – check back for more information.
Euchre – Evening I
This group meets on a flexible schedule each month at 7:00 pm with the hostess determining the date. If you are interested please contact Leader Elaine McClung.
Euchre – Evening II
This group meets on the third Monday of the month from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at member’s home. We currently play two or three tables depending on availability and the hostess provides light refreshments and beverages. If you are interested please contact Leader Pam Boals.
