Euchre Groups

euchre groups

Euchre is a fast moving, trick-taking game played with only a partial deck of cards. It is not a difficult game to learn so we are always willing to help anyone who is new to the game or wants to refresh their skills. The members of the four euchre groups have a lot of fun playing cards and we always take time to visit and get to know one another.  Light snacks and beverages are served during our time together at the discretion of the hostess. We play euchre with two or three tables depending upon how many people respond. If you cannot commit to play once a month but would like to participate occasionally, feel free to contact a leader to be added to the substitute list.

Euchre – Daytime I

This group meets on the third Wednesday of each month from 1:00 to 4:00 pm in the members’ homes. We currently have a core group of 15 members and play two or three tables of euchre depending on availability. New members are added to the substitute list to fill a table when core members can’t complete a table. Four players are needed for each table. If there are enough members interested in playing daytime euchre, we may try to create a second group. If you are interested please contact Leader Gloria Brubaker.

Euchre – Daytime II

This new group is just starting – we meet on the first Wednesday of each month from 1:00 to 4:00 pm in the member’s homes. We are currently looking for new members, so if you are interested check “Euchre – Daytime II” on your Membership Form, sign up at the Group Membership desk at the general meeting, or contact Leader Debbe Mayo.

 Euchre – Evening I

This group meets on a flexible schedule each month at 7:00 pm with the hostess determining the date. If you are interested please contact Leader Elaine McClung.

Euchre – Evening II

This group meets on the third Monday of the month from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at member’s home. We currently play three tables and the hostess provides light refreshments and beverages. If you are interested please contact Leader Pam Boals.
